Infinix, the tech brand tailored for the younger generation, has unveiled its cutting-edge E-Color Shift Technology at ShowStoppers CES 2024. This breakthrough allows mobile phone panels to change and maintain vibrant colors without draining power. Infinix also showcased its AirCharge and Extreme-Temp Battery concept devices, aiming to reshape the mobile industry.

Liang Zhang, Deputy General Manager at Infinix Mobility, expressed the brand’s commitment to Gen Z consumers. Infinix explores customization possibilities through a software application, enabling users to personalize up to 60 areas on the hardware with various colors. This approach allows users to express individuality and convey distinctive information through unique phone designs.
Mesmerizing Smartphone Back Panel Customization
The E-Color Shift technology, featuring E Ink Prism™ 3, transforms smartphone personalization. Microstructures with color particles carrying charges enable the phone’s back panel to change ‘skins’ without consuming power. Users can create a fresh look by displaying time, mood, and other features, providing a unique and expressive device.
Unmatched Charging and Performance
Infinix showcased the AirCharge and Extreme-Temp Battery technologies at the event. AirCharge employs multi-coil magnetic resonance and adaptive algorithms, facilitating wireless charging up to 20 cm at 60-degree angles. The technology ensures safety, with frequencies below 6.78 MHz and a 7.5W power delivery, allowing users to charge devices conveniently during various activities.
In collaboration with top tech suppliers, Infinix addresses the issue of mobile phone battery failure in extreme cold with the Extreme-Temp Battery. This innovative battery, with biomimetic electrolyte and fusion solid-state technology, operates seamlessly in temperatures as low as -40°C, providing dependable performance and endurance.
