While we are patiently waiting for the recently unveiled ASUS and ROG laptops to arrive in Malaysia, it seems that the wait won’t be much longer. ASUS Malaysia recently announced the ASUS Zenbook 14X OLED (UX3404) will be coming to Malaysia later this month, making it among the first 13th Gen Intel Core laptops to be available in Malaysia.

With that said, ASUS Malaysia has yet to reveal the local specifications nor pricing. However, we do know that aside from featuring a flagship 14-core 13th Gen Intel Core i9-13900H, the Zenbook 14X OLED will come with up to a GeForce RTX 3050. As the name implies, we will also be getting an OLED display with this laptop as well. From the looks of it, the panel will be lifted from the ASUS Zenbook Pro Duo 14 OLED, which means a fantastic 14.5″ 2.8K 16:10 120Hz OLED display. Of course, it also comes with Pantone Validated color accuracy, 100% DCI-P3, low blue light, the works.

Keeping the lights on is a large 70WHr battery that should suffice for a full day under light workloads. All of that will be packed into a portable 16.9mm thin and 1.5kg light chassis, that comes in Sandstone Beige and Inkwell Grey. The Sandstone Beige option gets a fancy new PEO process, that gives it a unique scratch-resistant ceramic-like finish. This PEO process is also more environmentally friendly than anodization.

ASUS will be sharing more details about the pricing and availability of this premium ultraportable later this month, so do stay tuned for more info about it. I do expect that the ASUS Zenbook 14X OLED (UX3404) will command a rather premium price point, but I am always open to being surprised, ASUS.
