Leaked! Get the First Look at the Incredible Huawei P60 series!
It’s been a while since Huawei released its flagship P50 series. Now, the rumors of the upcoming Huawei P60 series have been leaked and it’s time to get a first look at what we can expect from this amazing device. In this article, we’ll be discussing all the leaked specs, design features, camera features, display features, software features, and the expected price and availability of the Huawei P60 series.
Introduction
This series is the photography focused smartphone series from the Chinese tech giant, Huawei. It is expected to come with the latest photography and cinematography technologies with top-of-the-line specs (What’s available to them). The P60 series is set to be the successor to the Huawei P50 series, which has amazing optical performance. As the leaks have been released, we now have a better understanding of what to expect from the upcoming phone.
Leaked specs of the Huawei P60 Series
The SOC is expected to come with the Qualcomm Snap Dragon 8+ Gen 1 4G. This is the same processor used by Huawei Mate 50 Pro and it is unlikely to feature 5G technology due to the US Entity list, also with no new announcement on the Hisilicon Kirin SOC side, it is very likely the Huawei P60 would retain the Qualcomm SD 8+ Gen 1.
The device is also expected to come with a large 6.6-inch BOE OLED 1440 x 3200 120Hz 2K display. It would likely feature the same 1920Hz High-frequency PWM Dimming technology featured in Honor 50 series.
Design features of the P60 Pro
The phone is expected to have an aluminum frame and a glass back panel with an option for leather back like the Mate 50 series. So far the more believable image leak feature an orange back panel, but we believe there will be also an black and white color option.
Camera features of the P60 Series
According to some leaked image, it seems that the Huawei P60 series have a third-camera setup at the back. The camera sensor suggested should be anSony IMX888 as the main camera, IMX858 50MP ultra-wide camera, and also a 64MP telephone lens. We’ll likely to see the return of Huawei Xmage technology, f1.4 variable aperture for the main camera, and if we’re in luck, the telephoto lens setup from P40 Pro+.
Battery features of the P60 Series
The phone is expected to be powered by a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 88W wireless fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging.
Price and availability of the P60 Series
The Huawei P60 series is expected to be launched in march of 2023. As for the price, it is expected to be priced around USD 800 ~ 1000 for various models, similar to Huawei P40 and P50 launch price.. However, the exact pricing and availability will be announced closer to the launch date.
After though
We genuinely hope this would be a good phone as in the P50 series we find some feature was missing, such as the innovative zoom functions and Huawei own Xmage technology. The P50 series felt to be focusing on pushing for the pocket variant, well is an great phone on its own, missed it mark as the photography focused series for Huawei.
We also hope that Lighthouse would be supporting the P60 series upon launch, which would give user access to a good amount of GMS phone.
