The sheer versatility of that camera system – the impressive 4x optical-grade zoom, the headline-grabbing 200MP main sensor, and the consistently great color reproduction and dynamic range – cemented its place as a fantastic tool for street photography and everyday snaps. It truly punched above its weight.

Now, we finally have the successor in our hands: the Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus 5G. Yes, we might be a tad late to the party, but trust me, the anticipation has been building. I personally appreciate this feature as it provides a wealth of data to work with in post-processing, granting users significant room to adjust exposure, colors, shadows, and highlights to their liking.

So far, the RAW files produced by the Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus 5G behave as expected, offering a neutral starting point for creative editing, much like the RAW files from other camera systems I’ve used before.
