Anker Pulls Five Brands Under One Name

Anker Unifies Its Brands — and Previews MindBase, an On-Device AI Hub for the Autonomous Home

Almost 15 years after shipping its first laptop battery, Anker Innovations has pulled its five sub-brands — Anker, eufy, soundcore, SOLIX and eufyMake — into one name. Announced at IFA 2026, the move ends the multi-brand structure Anker built as it expanded from charging into audio, smart home, energy and creative tools.

“Category brands made sense when categories were separate. They no longer are,” said founder and CEO Steven Yang. From here, products will fall under two pillars: Anker For You for daily-carry tech (charging, audio, personal health, creative tools) and Anker For Home for connected-home devices including security and robotics. Existing products will transition gradually, with new launches leading the charge. Warranty, customer support and after-sales service remain unchanged.

MindBase Is Anker’s Answer to the Autonomous Home

The headline product reveal is Anker MindBase, a local-first AI hub that Anker is positioning as the brain of the autonomous home. Unlike cloud-dependent smart home systems, MindBase runs AI agents locally on an integrated AI Core compute card, keeps family data on expandable local storage, and ties everything together through a protocol-agnostic connection layer called EasyOmni Link.

EasyOmni Link bridges Anker devices and any Matter-compatible third-party gear, and works alongside Apple HomeKit, Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and Home Assistant. The first MindBase-powered product is the Anker MindBase Security Kit, which pairs the hub with the upcoming eufy TrackLight Cam S1 — a 4K telephoto camera with auto-tracking light — and the Video Doorbell S4, which uses a 180-degree panoramic lens to remove blind spots. Existing HomeBase S380 users can migrate their footage over to the new hub without re-recording. The Security Kit ships later this year, with pricing announced closer to availability.

Audio, Charging and Personal Care Powered by the THUS Chip

At the centre of the new lineup is Anker’s THUS chip, a Neural Net Compute-in-Memory processor that handles AI on-device rather than sending audio to the cloud. The chip now powers the soundcore AeroClip 2, an open-ear clip-on headphone with a six-sensor hybrid array: four high-SNR MEMS mics plus two voice pickup units that read vocal cord vibrations through the wearer’s body, cutting surrounding noise on calls. The over-ear Space 2 Pro stretches to 30 hours of battery with ANC on, while the Sleep 4 and Sleep 4 Pro earbuds and the bedside SleepLab Pro radar-sensing speaker round out the new sleep lineup.

Charging also gets the unified treatment. The Anker MagGo Power Bank 2 Pro is billed as the world’s first magnetic power bank with a built-in SGS-certified cooling fan — true 25W Qi2.2 wireless charging that takes an iPhone 17 Pro to 50% in 25 minutes, with a graphene heat spreader keeping the bank below 36°C. The Anker Nano Charger is one of the first products to carry the unified Anker name, a 45W Apple-season companion that hits 50% on an iPhone in roughly 20 minutes. On the personal care side, the eufy Wearable Breast Pump S2 Pro and eufy Bottle Washer S1 Pro round out the new lineup.

What It Means for Malaysia

Anker’s unified vision is taking shape locally. The new products begin rolling out across Malaysia this year, anchored by an expanding boutique network in leading malls. The official brand launch — including an elevated Malaysia strategy and the opening of new boutiques — is set for mid-October at Sunway Pyramid, with hands-on demos and end-to-end service under one roof.

Our Take

The brand consolidation makes sense as categories blur. Charging, audio and home security are increasingly the same problem — keeping sensors and silicon powered and connected — and selling them under five names added friction without much differentiation. Anker’s bigger bet is MindBase: a local-AI hub that sidesteps the privacy concerns of cloud-dependent smart home platforms while still supporting Matter, HomeKit, Alexa and Google Assistant. If execution matches the pitch, this is the most coherent “autonomous home” play from a consumer brand so far.

For Malaysian shoppers, the practical impact is straightforward — one brand to track, one warranty, and a single boutique experience at Sunway Pyramid in October. Keep an eye on the MindBase Security Kit launch pricing; if Anker undercuts the cloud-dependent competition, it could reset what Malaysians expect from a smart home starter pack.
