Xiaomi Malaysia Officially Launches Xiaomi 13 Series – Price Starts From RM3,499

Xiaomi 13 Series Launch In Malaysia
In case you didn’t know, the series is the brand’s flagship lineup. In terms of design both the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro comes with the same design, albeit the Pro version sports a more rounded look.
Both offers a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, so you know you’ll be getting one of the best hardware available today, IP68 resistant rating, Dolby Atmos stereo speakers, 50W wireless and 10W reverse wireless charging capability, as well as Leica-powered imaging features. The RAM offering is the same for both at 12GB but the Pro version comes with a bigger 512GB internal storage support.
In terms of difference, the vanilla model comes with a 6.36-inch AMOLED display that sports a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision support, in-display fingerprint sensor, and Gorilla Glass 5 for protection. The Pro version comes with a larger 6.73-inch curved LTPO AMOLED display with the same refresh rate, 1 billion colour output capability, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection.
You’ll find a triple camera setup at the back, where they come with a 1-inch Sony IMX989 50.3MP sensor with autofocus and OIS capability. Alongside it is two 50MP sensors (telephoto and ultra-wide) to offer you some flexibility in your shots. When it comes to the front camera, both of them come with a 32MP shooter for your selfies.
If you’re interested in getting them, they will be arriving early of March 2023 where pre-orders are now available until the 7th of March 2023. The standard version will be available for RM3,499 while the higher-end Pro variant is priced at RM4,599 for the 12GB+256GB model and RM5,999 for the bigger 12GB+512GB model. They come in three colour options; White, Black, and Floral Green for the Pro and Ceramic White and Ceramic Black for the standard model.
