ROG G700TF Gaming Desktop — Top G gaming performance
The ROG G700TF (2025) has arrived, ready to redefine high-performance gaming. This full-tower desktop from Republic of Gamers seamlessly blends cutting-edge technology with a striking design, proving that power and aesthetics can go hand-in-hand.
ROG G700: Designed to Intimidate

The G700’s full-tower form factor immediately conveys its gaming prowess with sharp lines and aggressive angles, all unmistakably ROG. Its dynamic textures and strategic venting not only contribute to optimal airflow but also enhance its futuristic appeal. Inside, a capable liquid cooling system handles the Intel Core Ultra 9 285K Processor, while the GeForce RTX 5080 PRIME graphics card benefits from a proven tri-fan cooler. A triple-fan intake up front ensures a steady supply of cool air, efficiently evacuating heat produced by the high-end hardware.

ROG has also incorporated some interesting design elements, like a cool acrylic light plate beside a shroud that neatly hides the 24-pin cable. While the overall cable management is decent, a minor flaw is the liquid cooler’s wiring running over the motherboard’s VRM cooler. However, with tool-less panels, fixing this and upgrading the G700 is a breeze. One peculiar design choice is a light-up plate on the PSU shroud with a somewhat “cringy” paragraph about the “kingdom of games.” It would’ve been preferable to see ROG Cybertext there instead.
ROG G700: Performs like a Champ

At the heart of this gaming desktop lies the potent Intel Core Ultra 9 Processor 285K, featuring Intel’s latest “Lion Cove” and “Skymont” architectures. This processing power is perfectly complemented by the groundbreaking GeForce RTX 5080, boasting a substantial 16GB of GDDR7 video memory. Rounding out the specifications are 32GB of DDR5 RAM and a 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD, creating a seriously powerful gaming system.

In real-world gaming tests, the G700 truly shines. Even at 4K Ultra with all raytracing bells and whistles, Cyberpunk 2077 ran smoothly at over 60 FPS on average, and that’s without using DLSS Multi Frame Generation. For the incredibly demanding Black Myth: Wukong, the system managed around 35 FPS without MFG, jumping to a much more playable 60 FPS with it enabled.

Around the back, you’ll find plenty of ports for all your peripherals and connectivity needs. While features like Thunderbolt 4 or Wi-Fi 7, or even a full-sized ATX motherboard instead of the mATX one in the ROG G700TF currently would have been nice given the ample space in the case, the current selection is more than sufficient for any gaming requirements.
