OPPO today announced the launch of Reno8 Z 5G in Malaysia, completing its Reno8 Series 5G line-up. Powered by 64MP AI Triple Camera together with several AI-enhanced imaging features such as AI Portrait Retouching and Bokeh Flare Portrait, the new Reno8 Z 5G is designed to offer users unlimited styles for their portraits. Alongside its outstanding camera capabilities, Reno8 Z 5G features a glass back cover and the Integrated OPPO Glow. With the aim to offer reliability and convenience to users, the Reno8 Z 5G comes with 8GB RAM-large memory and 256GB ROM storage space along with the optimized ColorOS 12.1.

Reno8 Z 5G comes packed with several imaging features driven by leading AI technologies to further elevate its portrait shooting experience.

–             AI Portrait Retouching is optimized to intelligently retouch skin tone and makeup without any artificial or excessive brightening. This feature is updated based on OPPO’s special survey feedback from thousands of overseas users regarding their skin tone and beauty preferences. Reno8 Z 5G can now deliver natural and vivid selfies with high resolution and high saturation.

–             Bokeh Flare Portrait offers quality portrait images by enhancing the brightness of the subject while automatically blurring the background and boosting the bokeh light spots.

All these superior features are backed by a powerful 64MP AI Triple Camera, toggling between the 64MP high-resolution main camera, the 2MP depth camera for bokeh portraits, and the 2MP mono camera for dedicated details. While the 16MP front camera with pixel binning technology also improves portrait effects even in lowlight scenarios.

Reno8 Z 5G is the first OPPO smartphone to adopt a 0.5 mm anti-glare glass back cover with Integrated OPPO Glow. The double-layer texture and single-coating process gives the back cover a smooth matte finish with a glittery appearance, giving off an exquisite visual effect, while also being fingerprint resistant.

With its ultra-slim body that is approximately 7.66 mm in thickness and around 181 g in weight, Reno8 Z 5G is available in two trendy color schemes – Dawnlight Gold and Starlight Black, both giving off a fresh and sparkling aesthetic.
