After the ROG Zephyrus G14-ACRNM, we now have the ROG FLOW Z13-ACRNM RMT02. With chart-topping specs featuring an Intel Core i9-13900H and GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPU, it’s more than just looks, but also about functionality. Speaking of which, the design combines fashion and functionality, which is on theme with the technical apparel that ACRONYM is known for.

Unlike the sleek lines of the regular ROG Flow Z13, the ROG FLOW Z13-ACRNM comes in a beefier machined aluminum chassis with embedded rubber grip elements, protective corners, as well as a strap system that helps you not just bring it around, but also use it hands free.

The overall design looks very rugged with its raw aluminum contrasting against the black rubber bits, but with fine laser-etched details that become apparent upon closer inspection. All the additional bits to enhance the rugged outlook are bulky, making the ROG FLOW Z13-ACRNM less compact and heftier too, coming in at 20mm thick and 1.32kg heavy, versus the standard version’s 14.2mm thickness and 1.18kg weight.

Aside from making a tablet that was renowned for its unassuming power in an ultraportable tablet form factor heavier, ACRONYM also had to eff up the keyboard design. But that might just be me, since I guess the ROG Zephyrus G14-ACRNM sold well enough for ROG to partner ACRONYM for a second go. The design peculiarities don’t end there. You also get a custom ACRONYM pouch designed to house the power supply, power cables and pen. Which looks like the tubular bubble wrap you get when you order glass products from Shopee.

Specifications wise, the ROG FLOW Z13-ACRNM is notably more capable than the regular ROG Flow Z13. On top of the Core i9 and RTX 4070, we have 32GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 1TB of PCIe 4.0 storage. The display is the same 13.4-inch 165Hz QHD ROG Nebula Display, covered by toughened Gorilla Glass DXC.
