Single SitePower: Next-Generation Intelligent Architecture

The “Single SitePower” architecture represents a paradigm shift in site power facility design. This solution implements a three-level synergy mechanism, seamlessly integrating site power facilities, wireless networks, and power grids. This integration facilitates bidirectional power and information flow throughout the entire process, from power source to grid, load, and storage. Furthermore, the architecture provides full-link sensing, visualization, and management capabilities, resulting in enhanced site energy efficiency (SEE), improved power availability (PAV), and a reduction in network carbon intensity energy (NCIe).

The architecture boasts three key features:

  • Resilience: By merging wireless networks with site power facility networks, Huawei establishes grid-source, source-storage, and storage-load synergies, creating robust and resilient facilities.
  • Green: Implementing advanced technologies, including high-voltage series connections, optimizers, intelligent algorithms, arc fault circuit interrupters (AFCIs), and rapid shutdown devices (RSDs), enables the construction of environmentally friendly sites and accelerates the monetization of green energy.
  • Reliability: Huawei emphasizes the paramount importance of high-quality and safe lithium batteries to ensure dependable communication.

RASTM: AI Data Center Construction Guideline

As data centers transition from general-purpose computing to AI computing, they encounter significant challenges related to reliability, uncertainty, rapid deployment, and elevated power demands. In response, Huawei introduces the RASTM AI data center construction guideline, developed through collaborative innovation with global customers.

The RASTM guideline addresses these challenges through:

  • Reliability: Recognizing the escalating value of AI facilities, Huawei advocates for enhanced architecture, products, intelligent management, and professional services to ensure lifecycle reliability.
  • Agility: AI data centers should possess agility, utilizing modular design and electromechanical decoupling to adapt to fluctuating requirements and facilitate rapid deployment.
  • Sustainability: Energy efficiency becomes a critical concern for data centers. The focus shifts from individual equipment efficiency to parallel system efficiency, culminating in the widespread implementation of the super economic control operation (S-ECO) mode.

The Future of Power and AI

“We advocate the concept of Power for AI & AI for Power and will invest continuously in technological innovation to promote the deeper integration of digital, intelligent, and low-carbon technologies, and build resilient, green, and reliable ICT facilities, helping operators transform from energy consumers to prosumers,” states He Bo.

Huawei showcases these cutting-edge products and solutions at stand 1H50 in Fira Gran Via Hall 1 during MWC Barcelona 2025, held from March 3 to March 6. As 5G-Advanced commercial deployment accelerates and AI reshapes carrier operations, Huawei collaborates with global carriers and partners to drive the transition towards an intelligent world.
