The HUAWEI MatePad Pro 12.2-inch maintains the same sleek and slim chassis design as its 2024 predecessor. This 2025 version is available in an elegant Green color, featuring a sophisticated silk fiber texture design.
To give you a sense of its portability, the tablet is roughly the size of an A4 paper and boasts a thickness that’s about one-third of a typical laptop.
Specifically, it measures 182.53 mm in height, 271.25 mm in width, and an incredibly thin 5.5 mm in depth. Weighing in at approximately 512 grams, it’s surprisingly light for a device of its size.
Display
The display technology on the 2025 MatePad Pro 12.2 remains largely consistent with the 2024 model, a decision we believe was absolutely the right one. It features an impressive 12.2-inch Tandem OLED screen with a sharp 2800×1840 pixel resolution, a fluid 144 Hz refresh rate, and a remarkable peak brightness of 2000 nits.

Cameras

Connectivity is handled via the new NearLink standard, which offers superior performance with lower latency and improved power efficiency compared to traditional Bluetooth connections.
A significant convenience is that the keyboard draws its power directly from the tablet, eliminating the need for separate charging.
The true highlight of this keyboard, however, is its dedicated slot designed to store and wirelessly charge the Huawei M-Pencil (3rd Generation).
This feature makes storing the M-Pencil significantly easier and, in many ways, represents a forward-thinking, human-centered design that directly addresses how users previously managed their stylus.
