Bitdeer Technologies Group, a prominent blockchain and high-performance computing tech firm, announced its partnership with NVIDIA and plans to unveil Bitdeer AI Cloud. As part of the NVIDIA Partner Network, Bitdeer aims to offer one of the first cloud services in Asia powered by the NVIDIA DGX SuperPOD with DGX H100 systems.

The service, expected to launch in the first quarter of 2024, will grant Bitdeer’s customers access to NVIDIA AI supercomputing for the development of generative AI, large language models (LLMs), and other AI workloads.

Rapid advancements in machine learning, AI, and LLMs have fueled a growing demand for robust and easily accessible cloud-based computing solutions. According to IDC, the public cloud platform-as-a-service (PaaS) market witnessed over 32% annual growth in 2022. This surge is indicative of the success customers are experiencing with cloud providers as strategic partners. The booming online gaming, livestreaming, and social media industries in Asia are further intensifying the demand for computing power.

Bitdeer’s GPU cloud service, leveraging its extensive customer base in Asia, aims to address this supply-demand imbalance. With expertise in hash rate-sharing and cloud services, Bitdeer’s NVIDIA DGX-powered platform can equip businesses and entrepreneurs with cutting-edge computing capabilities.

Tony Paikeday, Senior Director of the DGX platform at NVIDIA, highlighted, “Generative AI empowers businesses to unlock unprecedented scalability, reliability, and innovation.”

Matt Linghui Kong, CEO of Bitdeer, expressed excitement about the collaboration with NVIDIA, stating, “Becoming a Preferred member of the NVIDIA Partner Network validates our technological competence and market reach. We look forward to collaborating with NVIDIA to empower businesses in Asia to innovate, grow, and prosper.”

Bitdeer’s strategic roadmap includes four phases: Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), and Application-as-a-Service (AaaS).
