Altos Computing, a subsidiary of Acer, has unveiled two exciting advancements. First, they introduced the Altos BrainSphere™ T15 F6 server, designed specifically for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Second, they announced an upgrade to their AI computing platform, Altos aiWorks 4.0.

Altos BrainSphere™ T15 F6 Server: Powerhouse for Small Businesses

The Altos BrainSphere™ T15 F6 server is an excellent solution for SMEs seeking powerful and cost-effective IT equipment. Built with the latest AMD EPYC™ 4004 Series processors, this server delivers exceptional performance and scalability. It boasts DDR5 high-speed memory, PCIe Gen5 high-bandwidth compute card slots, and M.2 storage interfaces, supporting up to 32TB of hard disk space.

“The AMD EPYC 4004 CPUs fill an important market gap, providing cost-optimized solutions with enterprise-grade dependability, scalability, and security,” said John Morris of AMD. This translates to efficient servers that align with SME budgets and enhance operational capabilities.

The Altos BrainSphere™ T15 F6 server also supports 3D V-Cache technology, significantly expanding its L3 cache capacity. This advanced configuration ensures smooth operation for various applications, particularly suitable for data-intensive tasks like ERP systems and branch office terminal management. Additionally, the server adopts the DASH standard Realtek network controller, allowing for remote system administration and monitoring.

Altos aiWorks 4.0: Empowering Generative AI

In the realm of artificial intelligence, computing power is crucial. Recognizing this, Altos Computing has enhanced its AI computing platform, Altos aiWorks, with version 4.0. This upgrade integrates the latest AI development software stack powered by NVIDIA NeMo and NVIDIA L40S GPUs.

“Through the Altos aiWorks 4.0 Artificial Intelligence Computing Platform, we not only provide computing resource management capabilities but also lay a solid foundation for cultivating the next generation of generative AI application and development talents,” said Jackie Lee, President of Altos Computing.

Altos aiWorks 4.0 integrates Altos servers, workstations, GPUs, and its self-developed intelligent accelerator computing resource management system. This platform offers high scalability for data learning computation and task allocation. A key advantage is its advanced AI compute resource allocation mechanism, ensuring efficient use of valuable resources during AI model training and inference.

The latest version of Altos aiWorks boasts an optimized user interface and an integrated data panel for clear visualization of resource utilization. Additionally, it strengthens multi-process service sharing, providing a more flexible resource allocation method for AI development.

Altos Computing’s new server and upgraded AI platform offer significant advancements for businesses and research institutions. The Altos BrainSphere™ T15 F6 server empowers SMEs with robust and cost-effective IT solutions, while Altos aiWorks 4.0 facilitates the exploration of generative AI with efficient resource management.
