Lenovo Unveils a Hybrid AI Play Across Every Category
At Lenovo Innovation World during IFA 2026, Lenovo laid out how its Hybrid AI strategy is moving from vision to working product across personal devices, enterprise infrastructure and the everyday moments that connect them. The announcements span personal AI on PCs, smartphones, tablets and wearables, creator and consumer devices, and business technology built for AI-enabled productivity, collaboration, security and scale.
From initial inspiration through local creation, connected productivity and secure deployment, Lenovo is positioning technology as more personal, more useful and more adaptable to the people and organisations it serves.
Qira, Yoga, Idea and Think at a Glance
Lenovo & Motorola Qira expands to eligible Lenovo PCs with 16GB of memory and to Motorola edge, razr and signature devices through the Android 17 upgrade, with the new moto watch ultra becoming the first wearable to support Qira. A new Workato collaboration adds Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Contacts, Slack, Outlook Mail and Outlook Calendar to the mix.
The new Yoga Pro 9n (15″, 11) and Yoga 9n 2-in-1 (16″, 11) are the first laptops powered by NVIDIA RTX Spark, with up to 128GB of unified memory on the Pro 9n. The Yoga Tab Plus Gen 2 and Yoga Tab Gen 2 extend the lineup with pen-first Android tablets, and Smart Canvas Concept ties voice, pen, camera and touch together across Lenovo devices.
For consumers, the IdeaPad Vibe series launches in 14″ and 15″ sizes with seven Pantone-validated colours and Snapdragon X / AMD Ryzen AI 400 options. The new IdeaCentre AIO i (24″ and 27″) brings the same expressive design language to the home desktop with six colour options and Adaptive Lighting.
Commercial Push — ThinkCentre X Ultra Anchors It
On the business side, the ThinkCentre X Ultra is a compact 1.6L desktop built for the agentic AI era — AMD Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495, up to 128GB of unified memory, four-system cluster support, AMD PRO security and Lenovo ThinkShield. The new M75s Gen 6 and M75q Gen 6 extend the lineup with up to 50 TOPS of local AI acceleration.
Mobile pros get the ThinkBook 14 Gen 9 on Snapdragon X2 Plus with up to 26 hours of video playback, and the ThinkBook 14x Gen 2 at 12.9mm thin and 990g. The ThinkVision P34WD-4v is the world’s first Thunderbolt VoIP monitor certified by Microsoft, and the P27UL-40 brings an InkJet Printing OLED panel to commercial environments. Security is handled by ThinkShield TraceLock powered by Absolute and Prompt Security, a SentinelOne company.
Motorola and Concepts Hint at What’s Next
Motorola brought the motorola edge 70 plus with a 200MP camera system and Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, plus the moto snap wireless charger. The motorola razr with Crystals by Swarovski in a PANTONE Meteorite finish extends the Brilliant Collection. Two concepts hint at the next generation: Project AeroBlade (a sub-10mm fanless mobile PC using AirJet solid-state cooling) and Project Swan (a 14″ notebook that rolls out into a 17″ display).
Our Take
IFA 2026 is the moment Lenovo stops talking about Hybrid AI and starts showing what it looks like across every product category in one week. RTX Spark in a Yoga, AMD Ryzen AI Max+ in a 1.6L desktop, Pantone colours on an IdeaPad, a Swarovski razr — individually interesting, but only really make sense as a portfolio story. Lenovo wants to be the company with the right device, in the right form factor, running the right AI for any moment.
The Malaysian angle is still mostly “to be announced”, which is the normal IFA playbook. The ones to watch for Malaysia specifically are the IdeaPad Vibe lineup and the ThinkCentre X Ultra. Local pricing for all of these will be the real story.
