Commenting on the launch, Jun Ouyang, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Lenovo’s Consumer Segment in the Intelligent Devices Group, said Lenovo’s gaming portfolio is designed to support every player regardless of where they are in their gaming journey. Legion delivers the advanced performance sought by enthusiasts and competitive players, while LOQ gives new PC gamers a practical way to begin with confidence. The new devices also tie into Lenovo’s role as a Founding Partner of the Esports World Cup, where Legion hardware is supporting the championship rounds of the world’s largest esports competition.
LOQ Essential 15IPH11 and 15IRH11 — Two Routes into Gaming
The Lenovo LOQ Essential 15IPH11 takes a new approach to accessible gaming performance by using Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors with built-in Intel Arc graphics and a unified memory architecture. Rather than limiting graphics workloads to a fixed amount of dedicated video memory, the system can dynamically allocate available memory where it is needed — helping deliver fluid performance across multiplayer games, supported AAA titles, streaming, and creative applications. The integrated design also enables up to 21 hours of battery life and helps the system remain cooler and quieter throughout the day.
The 15.3-inch 16:10 display on the IPH11 is available with up to a 165Hz refresh rate and 100% sRGB colour coverage, and the chassis is now 10% lighter and slimmer than its predecessor. Up to 32GB of 5600MT/s DDR5 memory keeps games and background tasks responsive, while tool-less Easy Upgrade Access makes it simpler to swap or add components as needs change. A PCIe Gen4 SSD option, additional internal storage expansion, and Wi-Fi 7 connectivity round out a practical foundation for a growing game library. Lenovo has used a concealed air-duct design for quieter cooling, alongside selectable thermal modes for balancing acoustics and performance. The dual-tone Raven Black and Luna Grey chassis gives the system a cleaner, more contemporary look than past LOQ towers.
