AORUS GeForce RTX 50 INFINITY Series Rolls Out

GIGABYTE used COMPUTEX 2026 to launch the AORUS GeForce RTX 50 INFINITY series graphics cards. Following the debut of the AORUS GeForce RTX 5090 INFINITY at CES, the INFINITY lineup now spans GeForce RTX 5080, RTX 5070 Ti, and RTX 5070, delivering a performance-focused and consistent design across the series. These new models also combine a cable stealth design, supporting cleaner and more visually streamlined PC builds.

The expansion signals GIGABYTE’s intent to make the INFINITY Series a full-stack design language rather than a single flagship product. Enthusiasts building RTX 50 series systems can now choose from four INFINITY models with shared design DNA.

WINDFORCE HYPERBURST Cooling

At the core of the INFINITY series is the WINDFORCE HYPERBURST cooling system, combined with the Double Flow Through design to enhance thermal efficiency. The graphics cards enable penetrating airflow on both sides of the backplate to achieve streamlined airflow and unobstructed cooling to maintain peak performance. Leveraging the patented Hawk fan design, the system delivers an increase of 53.6% air pressure and 12.5% air volume.

A dedicated Overdrive fan is positioned at the center of the card, featuring its own independent fan curve and activating under demanding workloads to deliver extra cooling air for optimal performance. This three-zone thermal approach (front fans, backplate through-flow, central overdrive) is a meaningful engineering step forward for compact high-performance GPUs.

STEALTH Cable Management

To elevate the PC building experience, GIGABYTE relocates the power connector to the rear side of the new models. This design allows cables to be routed behind the motherboard, improving cable management, simplifying installation and maintenance, and enabling a cleaner system layout without compromising functionality.

The new models also feature GIGABYTE’s iconic RGB Halo and nacelle-inspired outer light ring design, enabling users to customize lighting effects with personal style. Meanwhile, the compact design ensures stable performance under sustained workloads while maintaining compatibility with a wide range of PC cases.

Our Take

The RTX 50 INFINITY series expansion is exactly what the high-end GPU market needed: a coordinated product family rather than a single halo product. The STEALTH cable management design, where the power connector moves to the rear of the card, addresses one of the longest-standing annoyances in enthusiast PC building, the visible 12VHPWR cable hanging off the side of the GPU. Combined with the WINDFORCE HYPERBURST cooling system that delivers measurable air pressure gains, the INFINITY series offers tangible functional improvements beyond aesthetic redesign. For Malaysian builders planning RTX 50 system builds, the four-model lineup makes it easier to find a card that fits both performance needs and case constraints.
