From Roadmap to Reality at COMPUTEX 2026

GIGABYTE Technology used COMPUTEX 2026 to demonstrate that its “Future Landing” AI infrastructure vision is no longer a concept. Running from June 2 to 5 at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, the company’s booth (Hall 1, 1F K0802) presented rack-scale systems, operational software, and live deployments that show how AI infrastructure is actually built and run at production scale.

The showcase covers the full spectrum of modern AI infrastructure, from the NVIDIA Vera Rubin NVL72 platform designed for next-generation AI factories, to Physical AI workflows that train robots in simulation and deploy them to the edge, to clinical AI applications running inference at the point of care.

Rack-Scale AI Factories Get Real Validation

At the foundation of the showcase is GIGABYTE’s expanding rack-scale AI infrastructure portfolio, anchored by the NVIDIA Vera Rubin NVL72 platform. But the hardware is only part of the story. GIGABYTE also unveiled GAIFA, the GIGABYTE AI Factory Accelerator, a purpose-built facility in Taiwan where next-generation compute, high-speed networking, and NVIDIA’s software stack are integrated into a fully validated environment for system verification, workload optimization, and deployment readiness.

For operations, GPM (GIGABYTE POD Manager) provides unified visibility and infrastructure-level monitoring across compute, networking, cooling, and power systems. The result is a coordinated system that can actually scale, rather than a collection of isolated components.

Modular Deployment with GADU

Beyond conventional data center construction, GIGABYTE introduced GADU, the GIGABYTE Accelerated Deployment Unit. This modular AI infrastructure platform integrates high-density compute, advanced cooling, and power distribution into transportable, deployment-ready systems. GADU supports direct liquid cooling and immersion cooling architectures, enabling organizations to expand AI capacity with significantly reduced deployment timelines while maintaining flexibility across diverse operational environments.

Scaling with AMD Instinct and EPYC

GIGABYTE is also expanding the path to scale through AMD silicon. The AMD Instinct MI355X (G893-ZX1-AAX4) and MI350P (G294-Z22-AAP2) GPUs are both built on AMD’s fourth-generation CDNA architecture, with the MI355X excelling at scientific simulations, agentic AI, and advanced modeling. The MI350P, meanwhile, provides seamless integration into existing PCIe-based server platforms powered by AMD EPYC processors, enabling a straightforward upgrade path for organizations scaling their AI infrastructure.

Physical AI from Simulation to Action

A standout demonstration covers the complete real-to-sim-to-real workflow built on NVIDIA’s full-stack AI platforms. The process begins with high-fidelity digital twins built through NVIDIA OVX systems, powered by the XLS4-SX2-LAS1 platform on NVIDIA MGX architecture with RTX PRO GPUs for large-scale Omniverse simulations. AI training then advances through the G2L4-SD4-LA08 platform on NVIDIA HGX architecture, where synthetic data generation and reinforcement learning take place. Once validated, trained models deploy to edge systems powered by NVIDIA Jetson for real-time robotic control, brought to life through live demonstrations alongside Isaac Sim visualizations.

Clinical AI at the Point of Care

GIGABYTE also showed a growing clinical AI ecosystem for real-time medical inference at the point of care. Working alongside healthcare partners, GIGABYTE integrates BRIX mini PCs with AI-assisted diagnostic systems supporting bone marrow smear classification and real-time polyp detection during colonoscopy. The VFG100, an FPGA-accelerated vision platform, delivers real-time image preprocessing with ultra-low CPU overhead, while AI TOP ATOM enables local inference for pulmonary imaging analysis, meeting healthcare data privacy and compliance requirements.

Our Take

GIGABYTE’s COMPUTEX 2026 presence is one of the more complete AI infrastructure showcases we’ve seen from a single vendor. Rather than focusing solely on flagship GPUs, the company presented a coordinated stack spanning rack-scale systems, deployment acceleration, edge inference, and clinical applications. The introduction of GAIFA and GADU in particular addresses two of the most common bottlenecks in enterprise AI adoption: validated integration and time-to-deployment. For organizations evaluating AI infrastructure vendors, GIGABYTE’s approach of pairing hardware with operational software and pre-validated deployment units reduces much of the integration risk that has historically slowed AI factory rollouts.
