Barcelona — Xiaomi is making a bold statement at MWC 2026, and it’s not about smartphones alone. The company’s “Human × Car × Home” ecosystem is taking center stage, representing a shift from device-level smart features to system-level AI that actually understands how you live.
From Screens to the Physical World
“At Xiaomi, AI is designed to serve people in real life,” said Angus Ng, Director of Communications for Xiaomi International. “This marks our first step toward bringing AI into the physical world—where technology becomes more intuitive, more connected, and seamlessly embedded into how people live, move, and interact.”
The centerpiece of this vision is Xiaomi Miloco (Xiaomi Local Copilot), the first real-world deployment of Xiaomi’s self-developed foundation model, MiMo. Unlike traditional smart home setups that respond to isolated commands, Miloco learns from your behavior across home scenarios.

What does that mean in practice? It automatically adjusts lighting when you’re watching TV, reading, or using your phone. It spots household clutter and cues the robot vacuum to clean. It regulates indoor temperature by recognizing your sleep states. You can even have natural conversations with it instead of memorizing specific voice commands.
Xiaomi 17 Ultra: Leica Deepens the Partnership

The smartphone star of the show is the Xiaomi 17 Ultra, the first flagship developed under Xiaomi’s upgraded strategic partnership with Leica. The device introduces a new-generation optical system featuring a 1-inch LOFIC main camera sensor and the industry’s first Leica APO-certified optical telephoto zoom lens for mobile imaging.
Also on display: the Leica Leitzphone powered by Xiaomi, drawing direct inspiration from iconic Leica M-series cameras with its dual-tone back panel combining leather-textured finish with a matte surface.
Xiaomi Vision Gran Turismo: A Hypercar Dream

Making its physical debut at MWC is the Xiaomi Vision Gran Turismo — a concept electric hypercar created for the legendary Gran Turismo franchise following an invitation from series creator Kazunori Yamauchi.
The concept features a teardrop-shaped cockpit, sculpted aerodynamic channels, Active Wake Control System, and signature halo-shaped taillight embodying Xiaomi’s “Sculpted by the Wind” design philosophy. The interior envisions a “Sofa Racer” concept, integrating Xiaomi Pulse features fully into the “Human × Car × Home” ecosystem.
Smart Home Expansion
Xiaomi’s smart home appliances are now available across four major regions and 14 countries. The company is accelerating global rollout of large appliances including air conditioners, refrigerators, and washing machines — transforming passive household devices into intelligent terminals.
For Malaysians
Xiaomi products are widely available in Malaysia through official channels, Mi Stores, Shopee, Lazada, and other retailers. The Xiaomi 17 series is expected to launch locally in the coming months. Smart home appliances including Mijia products are already available through official distributors.
