Signify (Euronext: LIGHT), the world leader in lighting, today unveiled its latest innovations for its smart lighting brand, WiZ, at the 24th International Architecture, Interior Design and Building Exhibition (ARCHIDEX), held from July 23 to 26 at the KLCC Convention Centre. The highlight of the launch is the new WiZ HDMI Sync Box with TV Backlight, offering users an easy and affordable way to sync lights to their home entertainment content, elevating movie nights, sports viewing, and gaming experiences.

Bring Your Screen to Life with WiZ HDMI Sync Box
The WiZ HDMI Sync Box with TV Backlight is a standalone solution designed to bring screens to life. By simply connecting the Sync Box to any HDMI media device (such as a streaming stick, set-top box, or gaming console) and attaching the included LED strip to the back of the TV, users can sync their lights with the colors and brightness of the TV screen.
Supporting HDMI 2.0 and video formats up to 4K at 60Hz with HDR10+/Dolby Vision, the HDMI Sync Box reads the video signal directly from the HDMI input. It instantly analyzes the entire screen to generate ultra-accurate colors on the synced lights. Featuring a 3-side segmented RGBIC light strip for easy mounting, the HDMI Sync Box is available in two sizes, fitting TVs from 55” to 65”, and from 75” to 85”.
The clean setup and personalized experience make the WiZ HDMI Sync Box with TV Backlight perfect for any style and TV watching occasion. With four preset sync modes—Cinematic, Vibrant, Relaxation, Rhythmic—and customizable brightness, color saturation, and intensity, users can set lights to closely follow all colors with drastic brightness changes, or to gradually transition while matching the dominant hue on the screen. The Sync Box works with any WiZ color-capable light that supports both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Users can link as many lights to the Sync Box as desired, as long as they are connected to the same Wi-Fi network, and sync them with the TV simultaneously.
The WiZ HDMI Sync Box with TV Backlight also includes a built-in microphone that captures audio from any source, allowing lights to change colors and brightness in sync with music. Control is seamless via the WiZ app, voice commands (with Google or Alexa), or the WiZ remote control. Users can even enable an auto-switching feature in the app, so TV sync lights turn on and start syncing automatically when the HDMI media source provides a signal.
