Brother Goes Beyond Products for Social Good
As part of their commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Brother Malaysia goes beyond products by sponsoring innovative solutions. This initiative involves providing 40 organic vegetable terrariums (HOPE Boxes) to four special needs schools in Klang Valley.
Promoting Sustainable Practices and Healthy Food
The HOPE Boxes are designed for regenerative agriculture, a method that restores soil health and promotes better nutrition. This initiative aims to provide schools with access to fresh, organic vegetables while reducing reliance on synthetic fertilizers and pesticides, ultimately contributing to healthier students and a healthier planet.
Empowering Schools with Knowledge and Skills
The project doesn’t stop at providing the tools. PWD Smart FarmAbility conducts workshops for teachers and students, equipping them with the knowledge and skills necessary for effective HOPE Box management. This empowers participants to become more self-sufficient and fosters a culture of sustainability.
A Collaboration for Positive Change
“This collaboration highlights the power of innovation and collaboration to drive positive change,” says Mr. Tsutomu Takaki, Managing Director of Brother International (Malaysia). Brother believes supporting regenerative agriculture contributes to a more sustainable future for all.
