2Gbps Time fiber broadband now available for RM379/month
Is your 1Gbps connection holding you back? Time is giving you the opportunity to double your Internet speed, for a very reasonable RM379/month. Unfortunately, it’s not for everyone just yet. You have to live in selected buildings in Mont Kiara, Segambut or Desa Park City for now, to be able to enjoy 2Gbps internet in Malaysia. But hey, it’s coming to more areas. Soon.
Time 2Gbps: comes with 2 free WiFi 6 mesh nodes and 2Gbps router
Your internet experience is only going to be as good as your WiFi connection, at least for most people who aren’t using LAN nowadays. So it’s a good thing that Time is providing not just one WiFi 6 router with one mesh node as they do with their 1Gbps and 500Mbps plans, but will also include a second mesh node for even wider coverage.
For content creators who need faster upload speeds however, you won’t be getting any faster uploads than with Time’s 500Mbps package. Time is keeping the asymmetrical 500Mbps upload speeds from the 1Gbps plan, which is quite peculiar.

As a sidenote, Time is also the first to commercially deploy 10G passive optical network (PON) technology here in Malaysia. This will enable up to 10Gbps speeds soon, when Time decides that they are ready for it. Hopefully, we won’t still be seeing 500Mbps upload speeds by then.
