XOX Bhd (XOX) and VMR Three Sdn Bhd (VMR3) will be working with The Ministry of Higher Education to enhance the digital learning lifestyle of the MYSISWA communities, specifically for the Institusi Pendidikan Tinggi Awam (IPTA, Public Higher Learning Institution) nationwide.
The announcement was done through a signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the three parties, today.
In this collaboration, XOX and VMR3 will be working with the Ministry of Higher Education to provide the lifestyle ecosystem to the students at IPTA, multiple platforms to perform tasks online, cultivating IPTA students entrepreneur skills, attractive packages for the students and social responsibility elements of working through Yayasan Kebajikan Siswa.
The MoU was signed by Prof Dr Azlinda Azman, Director General of Department of Higher Education, Dr Haji Mohd Zahari Bin Ismail, Director General of Department of Polytechnic and Community College, together with Mr Ng Kok Heng, Group CEO of XOX and Yang Mulia Hj Raja Fouzeel Akmal Raja Zainal, CEO of VMR3. Witnessed by YB Dato’ Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin, Minister of Higher Education and Dato’ Seri Abdul Azim bin Mohd Zabidi, Chairman of XOX Bhd.
The MYSISWA platform will be providing a one-stop platform for the IPTA students on services such as telecommunication packages, e-commerce, smart vending machine, e-wallet and loyalty program.
“XOX is truly honoured and excited to be a part of MYSISWA, by offering our telecommunication services and knowledge to enhance the IPTA experience in the digital world,” says Mr Ng Kok Heng, Group CEO of XOX. “The IPTA students will be ushered into the MYSISWA seamless ecosystem, powered by XOX. Besides the excellent telco services, the students will be able to be a part of the comprehensive e-commerce platform, financial services and also the convenience of getting ready-to-eat food, beverage through the smart vending machines. Above all, the students are going to receive reward points for being a part of the MYSISWA ecosystem, and they can convert these points to redeem vouchers & other rewards.” Ng added.
The MYSISWA program will begin in August.
The MYSISWA e-commerce platform will be offering textbooks, learning equipment like gadgets and accessories, clothing as well as all other daily necessities.
The Smart Vending Machine initiatives will be made available at IPTA with offerings such as ‘Ready-to-Eat’ meals, beverages as well as smartphone accessories, making these items accessible to all IPTA students.
MYSISWA also includes an e-wallet feature and entrepreneur development program.
