- By design, the mouse caters to the right-handed gamers, since the side buttons will be in the way of southpaws.
- There are a total of 6 buttons: the main left and right clickers, scroll click, DPI switcher and two side buttons.
- The scroll wheel sports RGB LED lighting.
- The HyperFlex cable is braided with paracord, making it very soft so it doesn’t impede movement
- HyperX bundled extra grip tape for those who want extra grip, while I prefer my mouse to be smoother, the official images show the mouse with the grip tape installed looks aggressive.

- It also has a light sync function that syncs up with other HyperX devices, but it doesn’t detect my HyperX RAM but it does detect my HyperX headset. Which doesn’t have RGB. Bummer.
User Experience
The mouse was so light it glides across my Ikea table with ease. A bit too much ease, in fact. It felt like the mouse would just slide off my table just with momentum alone unless something stops it.
Ace Combat 7 Sky Unknown
Never would I have thought how a mouse would change the gaming experience so much.
The light mouse + smooth glide really enhanced my flying experience, as it allowed me to move the plane with minimal effort while retaining a great level of precision.
Alien: Fireteam Elite
Other than the smoother glide of the mouse, the 2 extra side buttons is also a great help in games like Alien: Fireteam Elite, which require a certain degree of attention to items. By assigning the button to special abilities and grenades, it allows for a more intuitive gameplay experience by having my right hand controlling most of the action while my left hand focuses on navigation.
I change the setting of DPI cycling into 2 major settings, 3200 DPI and 800 DPI, one for navigation, while the other while aiming down the sight when I need accuracy.
Conclusion

- The ease of low friction was unexpected to me as I mix both work and gaming during tests.
