If you love yourself a little bit of a ranking when it comes to smartphone benchmarks, Antutu has released their monthly chart of best smartphones for the month of April 2022. Without wasting any time, here are the devices that make the list.

10. Samsung Galaxy S22+ 5G (Snapdragon 8 Gen 1)

8. Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G (Exynos 2200)

We can see that the Samsung Galaxy S22 series takes 3 spots in the top 10 ranking for last month’s list. It also showcase that the Exynos 2200 chip, which Samsung themselves produce is quite the performer with the S22 Ultra 5G.

7. Xiaomi 12 (Snapdragon 8 Gen 1)

Making its way to 7th spot is the Xiaomi 12, a device that’s powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, a common spec that you’ll see more on the list. The smartphone was released relatively recently in Malaysia on the 23rd of March 2022, where it managed to score 948,391 on Antutu’s test. 

6. iQOO 9 Pro (Snapdragon 8 Gen 1)

Managing a score of 954,336, the iQOO 9 Pro was released earlier in the year where it came several high end specifications such as a 120Hz refresh rate display, SD 8 Gen 1 chipset, 120W wired charging and 50W wireless charging to name a few. As you may have known already, iQOO is a sub-brand of vivo. 

5. realme GT2 Pro (Snapdragon 8 Gen 1)

Coming in at 5th spot is the realme GT2 Pro, with the score of 966,916. The device was introduced in the country recently where it’s actually the most affordable Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 device in the market.. for a period of time. Priced at a promotional RM2,599 price tag at launch, it retails at RM2,999.

4. Motorola Edge 30 Pro (Snapdragon 8 Gen 1)

Up next is the Motorola Edge 30 Pro, which you might’ve guessed already, is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 as well. While we’ve wrote about the cheapest in the division with the realme GT2 Pro (for a short time), the Edge 30 Pro is actually the most affordable smartphone to pack the flagship chipset at the time of writing, which helped it to score 977,395.

3. Xiaomi 12 Pro

Starting from the price of RM3,645, the Xiaomi 12 Pro takes a higher 3rd place spot compared to its brother, sitting in 7th place. It managed to score 982,228 in the benchmark where it features a fast 120W fast charger, quad Harman Kardon stereo speakers and a touch sampling rate up to 480Hz to name a few of the things that it offers. 

2. Redmi K50 Pro (MediaTek Dimensity 9000)

The runner’s up for last month is taken by the Redmi K50 Pro, the only one on the list that uses a MediaTek chipset, specifically the Dimensity 9000 that’s based on 4nm process. It packs quite the features such as a 5000mAh battery, 120W fast charger,, triple 108MP cameras, and it runs on MIUI 13, which is based on Android 12. Not to forget, it managed to score 986,840 in their test. 

1. nubia Red Magic 7 (Snapdragon 8 Gen 1)

Finally we have reached to the top ranked smartphone, which is the nubia Red Magic 7. The gaming smartphone successfully scored a huge 103,8771, which is a substantial amount of difference compared to the rest on the list. Sporting a big 6.8-inch AMOLED display, the phone has up to 165Hz refresh rate. Protecting it is a Gorilla Glass 5, and it comes with a 64MP triple camera configuration. The China version of the device actually comes with a fast 120W fast charging which can juice up its 4500mAh battery.
